It’s all matter of opinion, and what you prefer as your settings to say if Chicago is the best city to live in or not. Me personally I don’t like it here. It also depends what side or what you are trying to do. In a matter of spending your life here I wouldn’t recommend it, but like I said some people like the city life. My reasoning for not recommending, it would be that, cost is high for such badly polluted areas. To me, I’d rather live secluded to everyone and spend less, than to live in such a materialistic area. I will be explaining the different areas of Chicago and how they vary from ethnicity and race. Second I will explain where I live. The area I live in would be going towards Midway to Cicero. And I will be going into complete detail of the areas surrounding’s and content thirdly, I will be explaining my reasoning to not like the city life of Chicago. Chicago to me is a very dirty, polluted city. As you can tell I am not that proud to be where I’m from because of the fact the city is much polluted. The south side and west side are a bit dangerous, but the safest- would be downtown. My reasoning for downtown being the safest would be because of the many people, traffic that are around to see if anything goes bad. I wouldn’t start a family here knowing about those types of things. Having to worry about if my kids will end up in violence or accidents someday. now there are certain parts of the south and west side that are classified as dangerous. If you’re a Chicagoan you would know. Pilsen is dangerous, 26th street is full of Mexicans. Everything is just categorized over here with race,ethnicity, violence or if it’s safe. so I live by mid way and my job is very close to my house like three blocks. not a day goes by where I don’t see a prostitute. They are usually all drugged out. so to be honest, there shouldn’t be a reason why there are prostitutes any where. they should be gone, especially that its 2019 the world should have better morals by now. I’m constantly seeing homeless people everyday. I do not wanna be seeing that. the facts that we got prostitutes and homeless people around makes me very sad and disappointed with the world. If I were to start a family here I wouldn’t at all. When i get my career started and saves enough and have a plan I will move away to somewhere else. Personally i don’t wanna live somewhere where I gotta watch where I go. i want to feel safe and comfortable and relax.
