I. introduction.
Have you ever been in a class at east west university where the teacher just looks like they hate their job or just are very unorganized. well i’m sure its just not only at east west university that students feel this way about their classes but also at other colleges. between my two classes rhetoric style and intro to college preparatory math class both of my teachers had the similarity of having that passion for actually teaching their students. even though both teachers differ in classes both share the liveliness of teaching. Rhetoric style is an English class with my teacher Murray. Intro to college preparatory math was my class with creel, it is a class of learning basic math skills. That I barely passed by the way. both teachers were well organized. i actually found that I learned something in their class, even though I struggled with all the homework they gave. It was important for me to grasp the knowledge they were to show me to pass the class.
II. Rhetoric and style is a class that teaches students different formats of English. Murray always comes into class ready for the day not saying any extra stuff, but gets right into the lesson. Now I have never seen this teacher not prepared he has a website that is very clear on what to do. if you miss a class just go to the website and its that easy. now what gets hard is when all the work piles on you. Murray gives us assignments in class and then lets us do the assignments through out the rest of the class. To me that is well thought of because not only does it help with our time, but helps his students by giving suggestions on how making their essays way better,and a clear understanding of the assignment
III. College preparatory math is a class that teaches students the basic math to get ready for college classes. When Mr.Creel teaches his class he is very organized gives a firm lesson right away and gives us work to do while helping us and teaching his students his techniques. when Mr.Creel assigns the homework he does it everyday and it is a lot,but that is good. That way it gives us a way to learn more. Then the day the work is due we go over it in class just to have a clear understanding of how doing the work and see if we did it right.
IV. Conclusion To tie both classes into a comparison. Some major comparisons would be the Organization level of both teachers, The the passion, and the fact that they have a system for the students to learn and understand what’s going on in a class. It is very important for a student in college to grasp some type of knowledge from a class that they are attending. Students are not just in class for a credit, but to be in class to grasp knowledge for the real world.When you ask yourself why is it important that a teacher has these qualities is for the students knowledge.
